The “FATIH” project plans to deliver approximately 10.6 million etab5 tablet computers to schools across the country between 2016 and 2020.

The General Mobile etab5 is a 10.1- inch Android 5.1/Lollipop device featuring OTA (Over- the Air) and MDM (Mobile Device Management) support, ideal for use in classrooms equipped to deal with speedy wireless connections.  Wacom’s stylus is discreetly held in the tablet computer’s holder and can be taken out immediately whenever students need to use it. It provides unparalleled accuracy, speed, pressure sensitivity and responsiveness, delivering near pen-on-paper experiences, which help students concentrate on their assignments taking advantage of the benefits and efficiency realized by the state-of-the –art IT infrastructure.

“We believe that Wacom’s digital pen solution will certainly help students catch their spark of imagination and enhance the quality of their studies using the General Mobile etab5,” said Masahiko Yamada, president and CEO of Wacom Ltd.  We are honored to be part of the FATIH project and committed to keep supporting it in collaboration with General Mobile.”

By promoting the adoption of feel™ in a variety of mobile devices, Wacom strives to support our leading industry partners in making the world a more creative place with its digital pen sensor systems.
